Who isnt running a front plate

So..I was thinking about taking mine off and getting a new bumper(****ing holes) and was wondering how strict the cops are on LI with the front plate. I heard if you get a ticket, you can just attach the front plate and take it to the precinct and get it written off...if thats the case I dont know why anyone wouldent take the front plate off lol. Anyone have some input on not running one and how risky it is? I just really hate it -__-. **** how our states require this.

I went about a year and a half without it after tinting the windows I put on the Jacfab holder.
A few in our club run without a plate and others have the hideaway bracket.

I was looking into the hideaway plate but I dont like how much it sticks out of the bottom. Has there been a solution to this? And I heard about that jacfab holder I was going to look into that...I like how you can remove it as you please and put it right back on(night driving when cops sit around with their thumbs up their asses)

I keep a jacfab and my plate in the trunk.
So far no problems and I have been through a couple road blocks.

I jb welded rare earth magnets to the backside of the bumper cover and put the same magnets between the plate and factory bracket. When I want it on its on and if I want it off it just pulls off no marks or holes.

3 1/2 years with no front plate...never been questioned about it and I've been through several "check points".....I guess the straight pipes make 'em look at the rear of my ride, not the front
