Question part number for latest PDIM for '12 please

I currently have version DB-DB. I'm told DB-DD is the latest and that it fixes the random static problem.

Does anyone have the part no of the latest PDIM module that includes this version of hardware/firmware?

I'm kind of going through this right now. Car is at dealership trying to upgrade from DB/DB to DB/DD.

My dealer special ordered the current PDIM part (22797218) and just installed it for me. I now have DB - DD (verified visually).

The issue the master tech brought up is the service bulletin (or whatever it is called) PI0055B only goes up to '11 Camaros. He indicated there should be a PI0055C to cover the '12s. The "C" variant doesn't exist though. He said this oversight could cause problems for '12 owners who need this part.

He verified the PDIM part # is the same (or close enough) between the '11s and '12s and since I had the symptoms listed in PI0055B, he put the part in.

Very much good!

jph2275 if you have the symptoms and yours is a '10, I can't understand why your dealer will not install the part for you. I'd log a call with GM and contact Brandon who monitors these forums for assistance.

about what did it cost to have this part installed at the dealer?

I want to install myself but i'm afraid that if an electrical issue (unrelated) pops up later, GM will not honor the bumper to bumper warranted if I've done modification myself. Any thoughts?

It was a warranty replacement for me.
