LT headers with Borla Atak is the loudest exhaust combo......especially with no cats. You will be noticed, loved, and hated. Here is a SS with LT Kooks, cats, and Borla Atak:

I used to have it.. it was insanely loud. I sold mine and went with the s-type with my headers and havent regretted it yet. Thats just my opinion... others love the loudness

Very loud and drony. I would recommend the S-type...that is what I run on my car. You could buy the S-type Axleback (keeping the X-pipe), and then sell your axleback as an Atak Axleback. When it is said and done, the Atak axleback will sell for more used than a new S-type axleback, so it will work out good.
If you need any help, want a deal, etc, feel free to call us @ the number in the sig. |

I have the Borla ATAK catback with Dynatech LT headers and love it. It will get you noticed! I just went for a 1 1/2 hour ride with my father and we had a normal conversation. I can tell that I have headers and exhaust on but it's not annoying inside the car. When we wanted to hear it we rolled the windows down and stepped on the gas!

I'm running the ATAK cat back as well. The upside is that when it sounds great it comes with that neat, refined piston pumping sound similar to a built, muffled drag car going by. The downside is that the note itself is a bit higher pitched than I like, and it only manifests when under load at higher RPM's. I think a lot of us are looking for that low RPM, deep rumble that (and I hate to say it) you'll find with a lot of Mustangs either from their cam profile or from straight pipes of some kind. Even the online videos don't do it justice - for example Borla's online video delivers a tonality that makes their system sound even meaner than it really is. You've really got to be pushing a lot of air through the ATAK system to make it sound really muscly to be honest. It's otherwise very lacking from a stop and gentle rev.
