Smaller pulley...what belt size?
going from 3.5" to 3.0" pulley. will i need a tighter belt? edelbrock said stock belt size for eforce is 105.5" so would a 104.5" gatorback be too small? its the next size down...and im assuming the stock pulley is 3.5....now im questioning if its 3.75 for some reason lol...thanks

Not sure about Camaro, but on my vette I have gone down 2 pulley sizes using the same belt. I would try the belt before buying a shorter one.

The l99 ....comes with 3.5 |

I just put the 3" pulley on mine. I know they changed the belt and if you PM me I will tell you the belt size. My car is in storage right now and I have the paper work in it. I can have it tonight for you.. I know they had to try a couple of belts until they got the right one.

According to Edelbrock,
LS3 comes with 3.5" pulley L99 kit comes with 3.875" pulley http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...o/street.shtml Would be curious where your boost level is with the 3.0" pulley.

I would think a good aftermarket belt tensioner would take up that slack but I may be wrong.
