1SS/RS pricing help
Just became a new member and despite this being my first post, I have been on this website 2 hours a day for the last 8 or so months, I am completely addicted. I have learned so much going thru thread after thread after thread. So thank you.
I am completely new to muscle cars, and am close to purchasing one of the following new cars I have located. My question is, if you have a similar 1SS/RS, how did you do compared to invoice, and when did you purchase? Thanks for your help. 1. 2012 1SS/RS - hurst shifter/USB/boston stereo 2. 2013 1SS/RS - hurst shifter/rear vision/polished wheels |

Welcome!, I can tell you, regardless of options, most people are getting close to invoice, 1SS or 2ss, etc. Some people just buy at MSRP, but most people who try to get it down, usually get invoice price, and you can easily get down to within a few hundred dollars of invoice. I ordered my 2012 2SS in feb of last year and got it for 500$ over invoice. |

Bought a 13 2ss off the lot a month ago hurst, polished aluminum wheels, dual performance exhaust, manual , black
msrp was $38,800 dealer was offering $36990 Got it for $35700. According to KBB.com that was about $1500 under invoice. I thought it was reasonable. DO not go for any dealer services like clear coat, wheel insurance etc. when you are with the business or finance managers. Make sure they put premium in it and skip the dealer prep, get it detailed by a pro you trust. I also checked autotrader.com daily for several weeks and wound up going to a dealer about 90 miles away after finding the options I wanted. good luck |

If you are willing to drive to get your car then find as many as you can and negotiate either online or by phone. Don't be afraid to make a low offer, the worst they can say is no, you can counter offer until they accept. The closer it is to the end of the month the better the deal may get. good luck!!

Bought my 2010 1SS/RS with 2799 miles on it from the original owner in july 2012. Paid 28,000 for it. Best one I found in this area at the time. Wanted to wait for a 1LE but the Dealerships up here didn't know what I was talking about.
