Hi Guys

I am planning to buy the Kooks Long tube headers for my Camaro SS:

( 1 7/8" x 3" Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers and 3" Catted Connection Pipes )

I have a question concerning fitting it, what is the pipe diameter size that will fit for this headers ? can it be a 3" x pipe ? stock pipe ( 2.5" ) ?

This headers has a 3" catted connection pipes, so I am wondering, does that means a 3" x pipe will fit?

Please let me know.

I do not know much about these things. So please help me

The X pipe is in the catback. These are just headers and cats. The header exit is 3in and the cats/offroad pipe will either extend 3in all the way through or neck down to 2.5in to fit the stock exhaust size. When you order them, make sure you specify what size exhaust you have so you can get the right mid pipe.

Also, DO NOT order them direct from Kooks. Many of our vendors are Kooks dealers and can cut you a MUCH better deal.

I see, now I got it. So either a 3" pipe or necking it down to 2.5.

I hope I can find a kooks dealer near me and find a good price.

Maryland speed. Buy the stepped Kook's. 1 3/4 at the head, stepped to 1 7/8 . Best of both worlds and best performance.
