My spouse hates my ZL1. First time she took a ride in it, I had to stop on the side so she could vomit. She hates the noise and bumpy ride. She handled much better my camaro SS 2000. Something tells me my ZL1 will be a low mileage car.

Mine is indifferent...she doesn't understand, but will still go on cruises. We have two daughters under 7 that both love it. They tend to egg me on to open it up too. Makes a father proud!

I ask my wife the night before I bought my ZL1 if she minded if I bought another Camaro. She laughed and said, "as long as I can drive it". I thought she was joking. NOT!! My wife has put just as many miles on the car as I have and she bought me my ROTO-FAB CAI after reading about it on the forums as a Christmas gift without asking me anything about it. Since then she has bought ZL1 embroidered floor mats, trunk mats, valve stem covers, and got my "Birth Certificate" framed and matted.

I think she likes it.

It might have to do with it being a Hot car and the attention it gets. She's jealous of your ride.

Hard to explain, was kind of my wife's idea, 25 anniversary, after she suggested it to me and after a day to digest it, there was no stopping me. I'm going to teach her how to drive a manual this summer, and she's going to learn on one of the best camaro's ever built.

I feel sorry for you! My spouse loves it. In fact she is the one who "pushed/wanted" me to buy it. I guess it's in our blood. Our first car - we pooled our $$ together when we were engaged was a '66 GTO. Good Luck!
