Remove dual-mode exhaust
Based on all the research I have done I have not seen where anyone has removed the stock dual mode mufflers and replace them with flowmasters or something. Anyone done this and/or have suggestions? Also I noticed a lot of people mention the vibrating or clunking or rattling problem with camaro exhaust, I'm pretty sure this is going on with mine, anyone else have this issue with 2013 ss dual mode exhaust? Another assumption I have after researching is that solo performance cats will not void warranty, is this accurate and would replacing the dual mode mufflers with flowmasters outlaw axle back kit void warranty? And will my air raid cai void the warranty? Several questions in their, thanks for any help yall can give me.

The items you replace will not be warrantd but as a whole your warranty wont get voided withs hiflow cats headers intakes or exhaust however if or once you tune you will void the powertrain warranty

I will keep that in mind if I do replace them, every flowmaster kit says it does not fit if car has dual mode exhaust.

Not sure, flowmasters cat back kits also say they don't fit if car is equipped with dual mode exhaust, im gonna have to email solo performance and see if their mach x kit will work.

I would keep the dual mode and get headers instead.
The dual mode is awesome. |

sounds better than nearly every other cat back we have put it next to. has a very very mean but refined sound with the fuse out. with the fuse in it becomes a kitten that purrs unless you flatten the throttle. I would never switch them out with anything especially now that my car is cammed and has headers and cats. with the fuse pulled it is thunder but with it in I can sneak though neighborhoods without drawing the attention of the cops. There are no issues with the DM itself. most rattles have turned out to be other things. my rattle was just a loose piece of weld that broke off inside the muffler and got trapped. since then no issues at all.

Im not sure what yall are hearing but I respect your opinions. I had true duals in my 2004 silverado 5.3L using two flowmaster super 44's and it made my 2013 camaro ss dual mode with fuse pulled sound like a kitten. It was a very deep rumbling exhaust that shook the walls in the garage and woke the neighbors. The stock dual mode even with fuse pulled is nothing compared to the cars I hear driving around. Now I will keep you posted on whether my opinion changes or not after I install the CAI and solo performance high flow cats. Maybe I will end up keeping the dual mode mufflers, but my current opinion is that flowmasters sound way better as well as some other mufflers I have heard on these cars. Just my opinion.
