So easy to love Camaros

Do a search on installing a separate clutch reservoir, also see the DIY section, I know there is a good right up there. May solve your problem.

I know with my ZL1 when it had less than a 1000 miles AND below 60 degrees it was a little stubborn downshifting back into second gear. Today I had it out for the first time this year @ 59 degrees and no issues at 4400 miles on it. Temperature seems to be a factor with the manual when new. Maybe after 1500 mile breakin change tranny fluid which might help with shifting issues. Hope that helps.

I only had it happen once so far and I was really man handling it. Driver error for me. When I just guide the shift she goes where she should.
Another issue for me though is the high clutch pick up. Been that way from day one. Anyone else? |

Yep, high pick up and quick grab...but I like it. Don't have to push it in very far on quick shifts.

Agree with an earlier post, still have some issues when colder and still in the break in period.

One of the test drivers, the racer that test drives at Streets of Willows, was testing the 1LE and said something like you can't rush the shifts with this car. I suspect ZL1 would get a similar comment.

Yup mines tough shifting when cold too. After a few minutes of warm-up driving then it's good.
