Does Anyone have Pictures of RJT with Silver Stripes and RS wheels? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a 2SS/RS RJT Manual on order at 2000. I am told it will go to 3000 very shortly. I have selected black rally stripes for a traditional look. I'm not sure about the stripe color. I think silver would stand out well and match the factory wheel color very well. Does anyone have pictures of this combo?

The only pictures I found were of RJT with the 21 inch wheel option and GFX. I have seen the blue with silver stripes and from some angles the stripes look almost white. It also looks like the silver has some metallic to it. I think the shinier stripes might hold up better.

I apologize if someone has already posted this. If so, please provide the link. I have spent a lot of time looking and can't find it. Thank you.

See the CGM and split the difference.

Honestly have you checked into getting them painted. If you go with the OEM stripes at $470 you can get them painted on for double and maybe triple at worst case.

I went back and forth on painting vs stripes and by getting them painted on was the smartest thing I have done.

I thought about painting. But decided that I didn't want to alter the factory paint. I take very good care of my vehicles. I do not intend to sell this camaro. It will be garage kept. If I change my mind, I can always remove the stripes.

My mods will include a twin screw supercharger, when available and a customized interior. I don't intend to modify the exterior of the vehicle. I like it exactly the way it is.

For anyone interested, I have spoken with Kenne Bell, Whipple and Saleen SMS. They all have twin screws in the works designed to work with a factory built motor. Cost will be roughly $6000-8000.

I just found the thread on your vehicle, it is amazing! I think the silver of your vehicle matches the RS wheels very well. Amazing job! I think I will go with that color combo. I know your stripes were done by a high end shop and vinyl will never compare. $900 is an awesome price. Way to think outside the box. I just can't bring myself to mess with the original look of this vehicle. I hope someone out there has pictures.
