LED Grills and underglow and Rims

Hey everyone, got some new LED lights, what do you think? I started with doing some in the grilles. Then I did an entire full perimeter underneath. Got all these LED’s on ebay. While on ebay I found some wheel lights, that go inside wheel behind brake rotor. Here’s a link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=121082914262

Well instead of just off and on I did 3 full zones! I used a RGB RF controller to do this. Using Cat-5 cable I wired each with a common positive and separate grounds attached to the RGB controller. This way Red is the wheels, Green is the grilles and blue is the full perimeter. You can mix any two, one or all three. You can even have it flash between them, pretty sweet!
I just zip tied the lights to the bumper for grille lights after I removed the front bumper, not too hard. The perimeter was a little more tricky. I made metal brackets and attached them to the frame using self tapping screws. Then attached the LED’s with zip ties. In fact, I got the idea from the wheel kit. The wheel kit itself was the easiest! I did it one wheel at a time. Remove wheel, caliper (2 bolts) and rotor (1 bolt). Once removed I just drilled out 3 mounting holes and attached the plastic circle bracket to it. After that just zip tied LED’s to circle and attached to Cat-5 that came with the kit. Wiring it all up under the dash was no problem, just used my wiring know how as I am a installer for Century link

Let me know what you guys think? It gets tons of attention and people asking me how I did it! Plus I can leave them on a couple hours while parked to show off! Been a couple months and I love the attention!

looks sick! I have the led strips i bought the the controller but did you have to cut the led strips and solder on wires to attach the strips all the way around?
