Emergency brake HELP!

I purchased my 2010 Camaro 2ss a few weeks ago, and noticed that the emergency brake was higher then 11-15clicks as other members had mentioned before. Instead of the 11-15 clicks it was maxed out and would not hold the car on the smallest incline or decline. Thought it might have been the brakes or stretched cable but wasn't the problem. I had taken apart my center counsel to see if it was adjustable from there and this is where I ran into my problem.

First: found pieces of broken plastic, a square piece of plastic.
Second: found my cable off track.
Third: cable was splitting parking brake metal housing.

I need help on where I can find the plastic retainer, parts breakdown, and useful info on how to make something to fix this.

Thank you in advanced.

Looks like the brake mechanism and cable are sold as one. At least that is how it appears at GMpartsDirect. But they don't have the parts diagram for this mechanism.

Sold as a unit. Throw me $20 and i'll give you the one I took off my car. It's in great shape, and you're local.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.
