Rs headlights and drls swap

Is it possible to take a rs switch out of my 2ssrs , change it to the regular 2ss switch and change out the headlights to the normal lights and drls to fogs? If so what all would I need to accomplish this

Wow. An RS guy that wants non-RS lamps? People truly do want what they don't have.

So, safe to say that you just want halogen headlamps and control over the DRL's (like fogs)?

You would at least need a headlight harness (4-to-3 wire conversion). Note that the RS high-beam circuit cannot drive the non-RS high beams directly.

I do know that the RS cars don't have the wiring to support a non-RS switch, but, I believe that Ofer has shown a harness to do this.

You could also just wire them to a regular switch.

Okay thank you very much. So just get the regular switch?. And the reason I want to switch it over is bc of a project. I love my headlights. I just hate the drls. I love the regular switch instead of the rs switch put in the car. I will keep my rs headlights to put back in later after the project. But at the moment I need cheap lt headlights that come on the camaro and the regular fogs

By regular switch, I mean a standard SPST/SPDT switch, not the non-RS headlight switch, to drive the DRLs.

There are some non-RS lamps on ebay now for $125 each. You may be able to find take-offs from people here for less.

You would also still need harnesses to convert the headlamp connections from 4 to 3-wire and to drive the high beams.
