car cover question
I was wondering if anyone had any advice about a car cover to store vehicle outdoors in the winter? Is the GM cover worth it? Dealer is willing to throw in the cover for near nothing....
Will the cover scratch the paint if stored outdoors for the winter? Any help would be appreciated. |

I did a little searching; http://www.carcoverworld.com/camaro.asp
Important; Make sure you can fasten the cover. You can do some damage if the cover is free to blow around too much, and you don't want to spend all your time correcting paint issues once you remove the cover. ![]() Also, NEVER cover the car if it's dirty. I think if you do some research, you'll find that there are alot of offerings. Ed |

Honestly, I would avoid storing a car outside in winter with a cover, especially a new car.
You have moisture, freezing, wind, debris and dirt getting under cover. I would store the car inside and pay for same. I have the car cover, but will not use it until winter and after paint cures. If it's free, why the hell not get it!
