Two Explosions at Boston Marathon Finish Line

BOSTON - Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon have resulted in injuries.
Bloody spectators were being carried Monday to the medical tent that had been set up to care for fatigued runners. Police wove through competitors as they ran back toward the course.

"There are a lot of people down," said one man, whose bib No. 17528 identified him as Frank Deruyter of North Carolina.
He was not injured, but marathon workers were carrying one woman, who did not appear to be a runner, to the medical area as blood gushed from her leg. A Boston police officer was wheeled from the course with a leg injury that was bleeding.

About three hours after the winners crossed the line, there was a loud explosion on the north side of Boylston Street, just before the photo bridge that marks the finish line.
Another explosion could be heard a few seconds later.

I hope everyone is okay. I hate to see things like this happen.

I would say seems a bit too fishy to be a accidental. Now all we need to know if this was domestic terrorism or overseas Taliban or other groups.

I agree this seems to be intentional. High value target like the marathon and on the finish line. However, there is a lot of things we don't know yet. At this point we should all pray for those injured and those that have passed away.

yeah, I saw that too. I got the 12 from a tweet from @carolinascanner.

Guys, We need to remember that right now every reporter is trying to scoop one another. There is no way in the world the police have an injury count and body count yet, so anything being reported is conjecture from news organizations trying to sell ads.

I just seen the news update and explosion as it happened. Apparently it was multiple devices planted. Could've been in barrels or bags. Not confirmed yet. Atleast 2 have been killed and dozens injured from the blast.

I really hate to see things like this happening. They've disarm two devices that wasn't exploded.

I've been getting some info from my buddies in the national guard atm. I'm sure something more in dept will be put up. But apparently there was another bomb that didn't go off at the time it was supposed to. It definitely was intentional.
