noob suspension question
im a total noob at suspension. I have a few questions , one is I am running 245/50-19 tires on the front and 255/50-19 on the rears. Im thinkiing about lowering the front 1" or so. im old school so i like alot of rake on my cars. guess its from running high jackers on my old 76 camaro.LOL. if i lower the front or even the whole car an inch will i have to get lower profile tires or should i just run a lower profile on the front in order to get alittle more rake. Just running lower profiles will open up my wheel well gap if im correct but would drop the car around an inch if i went with a forty series . i know this is alot of tire questions but im also wanting lowering info too. thanks guys.....

You don't want to change the tire diameter too much or you will have problems with stabilitrak. There are a few manufactures who make "raked stance" springs which lower the front more than the rear. BMR and Pedders just to name a few.
Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |
