Help! Need advice on paint chip on roof of new Camaro.

Ok, dealer called and said my car had a small dent on the roof caused by a chain or something from the shipping company. They fixed the ding, but their is a small paint chip around a 2mm by 4mm on the roof. Would I be better having their body shop sand it, and repaint the area, or have it touched up? They will do either and I am wondering if anyone has an opinion either way?

What might be small to the dealer...might look different when you see it...

If the dent is out to your satisfaction, I would have the body shop just touch it up, rather than painting an area, and would ask for a discount off the price of 300-$500. Just my 2 cents.

Well sounds like you have no choice. Other than refusing the whole car.

Good luck.. the driver or whoever did it should be waterboarded btw.
