V8 Shock absorbers

Does the V8 have a different shock absorber spec compared to the V6?
Sorry if it's a silly question but just need to make sure

Yes. Firmer and better controlling and not as soft and floaty. 2012' SS's and up better then 2010SS. Ile firmer still

Also if you paying for new gm parts might as well go with FE6 1le struts and shocks
