To halo or not to halo POLL

Just curious what everyone thinks about the Halo lights on the Camaro. Anyone who has seen both with and without at night is the actual lighting much better? Do you like the appearance better with or without day or night?

The Halo's make it meaner looking! Until the cars flood the market and people start seeing a lot more of them, they'll move out of the way wondering WTF is coming up behind them with those lights! That's when you realize just how cool they are!

They look cool and I know I am in the minority, but the regular headlights with the fogs on just looks better.. Especially on the lighter cars.. On the black or Grey car, the halo's look best.. On the IOm orange and Yellow, the orange color coming from the halogen lights blends in better with the paint and accentuates it. Remember the HID's are white light.. I think the regular lights will be more rare than the Halo's since most people who will be getting a V6 will upgrade to the RS just to get the 20 inch wheels and spoiler to make it look almost identical to the SS.. I think it is mostly dealers ordering the V6 without the RS though so that may even them out..

I like driving with just my halos on (Not the middle part, just the halos) instead of having my DRLs on. It looks badass even in the daytime, and definately gets attention.

(The bright silver Bumblebee stripes I got put on don't hurt either.)

Personally, either style is . To me, I find that the "Halo's" give the Camaro a too "European" look for my tastes whereas, the "Standard Halogen Headlights" are more in line with the heritage style of the 1st generation for which this Camaro was based upon and for me, that is the look I want.

Have a 2SS/L99 std lights
After I find out what the stock bulbs are plan on upgrading at least low beam & Fogs to PIAA or Street Glow bulbs.

Have them in AV and never use the Stock Highs

Also change color of fogs to Ion or Amber if possible.

There is no doubt that the HID's are superior at night to the Halogen bulbs for clarity and brightness. However the Halogens are still bright enough and the high beams will still blind people as always.
