I know this was asked before, but I couldn't find the original thread.... does anyone know of a GOOD custom paint shop in the DFW area?? .... preferrably Ft Worth, but if they're good, I'll drive. Need someone to paint stripes on my Camaro...when I get it. THANKS in advance!!

I'm gonna take a drive to Mansfield (2301 FM RD 1187) & give House of Hot Rods http://www.txhouseofhotrods.com/ a visit, they are a completely self contained custom vehicle place. You can have EVERYTHING done there. But, not sure if they will charge a premium for that conveinence.

That sounds like a great deal......... wonder exactly what their process is? I am wanting two coats of paint & two coats of clear coat. I need to give them a call, I guess. THANKS for the info!!

I didn't know you wanted stripes I thought you wanted to paint the whole car. It's just an alternative to paint. And the Dallas shop is world renown in particular I guess that's the real reason I said check them out.

Found a shop in Weatherford this weekend that I may go with to paint my stripes on when I get my Camaro. Cupps Collision Center is the name of the shop. The painter's name is Marco. They are going to do 2 coats of paint & 5 coats of clear coat for $1,000 (estimate only, but said it wouldn't be more than that).
