another accident thread smh

well as the tittle say it's an accident thread. yesterday around 4 it started raining really hard while I was on the freeway I hit a puddle of water going 45-50mph which cause me to hydroplane and spin out of control. I hit another vehicle and well that being said I have damage on my car. I know it's rough to get an actual estimate of how much the damage is with out actually taking it to the body shop. I'm hoping Inman get this taken care of without the insurance. if any one can give me some rough numbers I can go by it would be helpful in my decision. here are some pics.

You in Houston? It rained real hard here. I was in the daily and I hate driving RWD cars when it pours like that. At least $10,000 is my guess...and that's a shot in the dark. Real hard to tell without getting it on a lift and pulling other parts off to see underlying damage.

Its fixable and I hope everyone was ok!

Glad you're OK. When I was 17 I spun out on the highway when I hit water - it is really scary. I was lucky and didn't hit anyone.

From what I can see you need a front bumper, rear bumper, left fender & left QP. Plus a tire - and I can't tell if your HID is ok or not. IMO you are looking at least $4k based on about $1k per panel plus a tire and plus anything not showing. Could be easily $6k.

I would say yeah you need insurance and around 3-4k for the panels and a tire or two.
Seems like it would cost more for you to pay out of pockect including the other car you hit.

...damn that does suck about trying save too
