The thing is, a GTR is a 10 second car bone stock, and could go straight from that drag strip to Nurburgring and set a top-10 lap time. A whole hell of a lot went into Steve's Trans Am to get it to where it is, and it probably would have extreme difficulties efficiently navigating a track like Nurburgring in that state.
