shift points
What RPM do you all shift at?
I just got my 1le and I can shift from 2nd to 3d smoothly, but 1 to 2 and 0 to 1 aren't as smooth...what rpms do you shift at? |

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the tranny is set so it won't let you shift into 1st at certain speed or rpm. 1st to 2nd may be getting you because of the skip shift.

Yes, I suspect that you are experiencing the "skip shift" feature that is designed for fuel economy when you shift from first to second (forces shift to fourth).
The remedy is simple...buy and install (simple) a skip shift eliminator, and/or, wind your rpm's up a bit more between shifts and "drive it like you stole it." |

You have to rev Mach when down shifting so the gears don't mesh. Just blip the throttle before you let out the clutch when downshifting.

Our clutchs is made with levy to hold in the clutch slightly when rollin in first..in simpler terms pretty much
when you take off in first don't completely let off the clutch until you're at about 7/8 mph and the same for second until you're around 11/12 mph you'll feel a difference in the smoothness. and eventually it'll be much more smoother after it breaks in |

not sure if the 1LE clutch is any different from the 2SS but I find the Camaro's clutch easy to engage smoothly compared to the other cars.
