Any dealers that might be able to answer a question?

i'm meeting with my dealer this evening to finalized everything and set up delivery. we were discussing the GFX which i know has been discussed here a lot as i've read thru the threads...and he was telling me i might want to wait on having it installed because there seems to be a lot of problems, blah blah, blah.

i was toying with the idea (prior to speaking with him) due to the feedback i've been reading, about omitting the GFX.

my dealer told me that's my perogative, i can take the kit and wait to install to see if they improve on the installation, or i can have it installed myself. of course he said that wouldn't be benefitial for me because the installation price is already included on the price of the option.

bottom line is.....i've purchased it either way and i'm paying for it and there's no not taking it and removing the charge for that option.

is this true? do i have no valid arguement with him at all based on the fact that it seems to have not been perfected yet?

he seems to be a pretty stand up guy and his been up front with me all along. but this just seemed odd to me seeing as though it's not actually installed on the car yet.

TIA for any advice

gfx package

the problem is with the design of the package. your dealer has
nothing to do with that. We are expierencing the same problem
at our dealership, we advised the customer to wait for an
updated design, he has already picked his car up, and had to
tape the front piece on to keep from falling off. Your dealer is
not going to absorb the cost. help is coming with a new design.

thx for your quick reply!! please don't misunderstand, i would never expect the dealer to absorb the cost. what i was asking was if i didn't take the kit at all (seeing as tho it's not been put on the car yet) can they adjust my sales price to reflect removal of that option?
