Newby from Round Rock, TX here. I've been lurking for awhile enjoying all the fantastic info from everyone. Could not take it anymore and went and rented a Rally-Yellow 6 cylinder auto for Father's Day weekend @ Avis Austin Airport. That sealed the deal for me !!!
I just ordered a 2SS/RS, IOM ext, IO int, M6, and Polished 20" Wheels. Now the wait begins

I spoke with you awhile back and you sent me to Eric in Grapevine. I ordered from him. After about a month I noticed that Classic in Sugarland had some allocations left so I called Eric and ended up reordering from the Sugarland store. They are telling me about 8 more weeks.

I am happy for you!! But so sad for me.... I'm still two months away from my order being pulled by GM! Uggg

....... but I said I'd stick with my salesman (I've bought two other cars from them, my salemans rocks, and I have all my repair work done there) sooooooooo I'm waiting it out. But it sure is hard to see all these people that ordered AFTER me already seeing their cars moving. Ahhhhhhhhhhh just venting. Sorry!

Hang in there!!! I waited a month after I ordered before I cancelled. I told myself that I just wasted a month but I knew that it was the right move because the dealership that I first ordered from told me that I wouldn't get my car until late 09 or 1st quater of 2010.

The new order was only going to take 6 to 8 weeks.

Hi Scott,
I ordered mine from "Covert" in Hutto, Texas very nice guys to deal with. We sat down and placed the order online, and then he gave me a copy of the "GM OrderWORKBENCH" on the Camaro. He emailed me a little later and informed me the "IOM Engine Covers" are not available right now, but would keep a watch on the order and let me know when they become available. Very nice guys!!
