Decided on something different...
I'm not sure how many people know that when you clear coat plastidip, it will start to crackle and whatever is underneath will show through a little bit. So I tried it on my door panels and dash trim. Plus I thought straight red was way too much and I thought black was too dark. What do you guys think?

It has an "antique" look, not really for me, but to each their own. Like you said, you can always repaint if you get tired of it.
