Camaro got me free entry!! Photos added

Picked up my 2SS last night. Everything is perfect.

As planned, I took it down the Oregon coast for a break in run for about 120 miles and back. Along the way I was stopping and taking pictures of the car with different backdrops. One of the places I stopped was one of Oregon's many lighthouses.

Yaquina Head light house is now a state park and charges $7.00 entry. As I pulled up to the gate, the young man pokes his head out the window and looks at my Camaro from front to rear and says "That is an awesome car."
So I answered with, "cool, does that mean I get in free today?" He looks it over again and says "sure does." I gave him a fist tap and as I drove away he said "Nice to see American Muscle again." So my GF and I went on getting the celebrity attention the rest of the day.

After we got home, I had to go to the AT&T store. While I was there, my GF was waiting in the car and a young woman came up to talk to her. She had looked at and sat in a V6 model but said she wanted an SS like mine. She obviously knew a little bit about 2010 Camaros. She asked if she could take a couple pics and my GF said she would take a pic of her standing by it if she wanted. The girl got excited and said sure. So now she has a pic of her standing next to the Camaro and said she was going to send it to her husband and say, "honey, look what I just bought." I would have liked to see his face.

Sorry I don't have the pics up yet. I've been busy and had to carefully plan my time from work out of state to come get my car. When I get back to Wyoming, I will try to get pics up on the "Owners" thread.

Thanks to everyone involved in bringing this car back and doing such a fine job of it. It was a rough road at times and a long wait, but like most have said it was worth the wait.

Finally got the pictures up. Wanted some nice backdrops and couldn't think of anything better than the Oregon coast. The others are at the Evergreen Air Museum with the Spruce Goose and an F-15. Hope everyone enjoys the pics.

That would have to be a mobile lemonade stand. As I travel a lot, i would have to get a "Interstate Commerce Comission" business license.

Get to the Oregon Coast much? I'll probably use it for the break in run on mine. It's such an easy and fun drive in any vehicle. And it's in my backyard basically. If you get a chance take the road that runs along the north side of the Columbia between Kelso WA, and Cape Disappointment. This is a gorgeous drive. Nice and curvy with great views of the river. Man I love road trips! A new Camaro is the perfect excuse for one.

Nice pics! Your car made all the back drops look great! Just wandering what was the big glass building you was parked in front of in 2nd from bottom picture? It kinda looked like some type of new sports arena. Was it?

If you look through the glass you'll see a lot of propellers on a very big wooden plane.
