2LT+cat back exhaust. its not odd is it?
Ok I have a 2013 2lt. I have just seen an SS with a nice sweet exhaust sound and I realy
liked it and wanted to instal a cat back on mine too. My question is does it look odd to have a cat back installed on a 2LT?? I mean its not an SS right |

No its not odd. Lots of V6's with some great sounding exhaust. Your car makes over 300hp. Its okay to hear some rumble. Actually its better than okay!

The sound will have people mistake you for a v8 but wont sound as good as a v8 with a mod exhaust. Go for it should sound good just find one that you like.

Its nearly impossible to have a V6 sound like a SS...but I do know its possible to make your cars exhaust sound really good! Theres some V6s out there that sound amazing. Read up on different setups and go with one you know sounds good.

I put this axle back exhaust on my 2010 1LT Camaro. A lot of people thought it had a V-8. It only took me about an hour to install it.

SOLO is great with taking away drone, im sure their V6 system is great too!
Key to V6, is not to get too loud. Get it all flowing on the engine side, then quiet it down at the tail end. So you can get headers (if you have the v6 that allows headers), High flow cats, then get a good axel back that isnt too loud. You will have a great rumble, and at WOT it wont sound so raspy/farty. I took a lot of time with my 4th gen v6 exhaust. Headers, HF cat, then I got some mellow/conservative mufflers. I got all the power out of the setup that I could, without making it sound crappy. It was still loud but sounded great |
