Went for a cruise yesterday and saw 3 other Camaro owners in NC

So my wife and I decided yesterday to head into Fayetteville, NC to grab a bite to eat. I figured we would take our 2SS Rally Yellow out for a short cruise. I stopped at the post office and a V6 CGM with GFX comes rolling by on the main road so I wave but I guess she doesn't see me. We leave and head towards the middle of town and at the next light we see a Victory Red V6 with black rally stripes go by in the opposite direction. By now Im thinking wow this is awesome having so many Camaros around and as we are headed back to the house we see the CGM behind us and coming the opposite direction is yet another Victory Red with black stripes but it is an SS and we wave and move on. Then as we were almost home a guy in a red Challenger SRT-8 comes by in the opposite direction and waves as we pass him. It was a pretty sweet day around here for Camaros and having three that close together was great, everyone parked near us at the light went going crazy trying to figure out which one to look at and take pictures of. If you are the owner of any of these please let me know because I am trying to set up a little Camaro meet in town. Just thought I would share.......

Well Im not sure how long it took because we bought ours off the lot. We ordered back in March and our order wasn't moving. Come to find out the dealer didn't tell us that we were number 18 for 8 allocations. Someone backed out of a Rally Yellow 2SS/RS with Black Rally Stripes so we jumped on it and bought it like 30 mins after they guy backed out. I think they said it took about a month to get there. But now since everything seems to be moving smoother you should have it any day now.

Its just so sweet to finally be seeing them on the street. Its so nice to know that a Camaro exists now so I don't have to settle for my '05 GTO just because it was GM. It was a great car but just had no shock value to me. Glad to see these cars coming back.

i hear ya, but i still love the GTO. i saw ANOTHER last night... sure, its understated... but small things on the exterior DO get me goin'... and the power... and its a pontiac. yum.

but

nothing gets the blood pumpin like this camaro. wow, ... its like... voodoo and stuff.... so many hot cars out there, but this takes the cake in the adrenaline dept.

I loved my Goat, and I have always been a Pontiac guy. My Dad and I almost shed a tear when they said they were axing the division. He had GTO's and Trans Am's since they fist hit the scene, but even he like this Camaro better than most he owned. Hell, I like my 2SS more than my crazily modded '97 Trans Am. It takes GT500's all the time but there is just something about cruising in my Camaro that just pumps me up.
