Vibration during braking

Hi.

during the last days i've been noticing that there is some vibration when I brake, really evident when deccelerating from speeds above 120kmh.

It feels like the car is going through a rough surface...my car just had the 10.00kmh check two weeks ago and they did tire alignment and they said everything was normal.

My car has stock suspension and brakes, and I never felt that vibration before, any ideas what could be causing it?

Thanks for your help!

alignment, wheel balance, or uneven pad wear. if you are an experienced driver you would feel the alignment and wheel balance just cruising...and you can check the pads.

Warped rotor... which would cause uneven pad wear.

The wheel balance would be noticeable all the time, worse at 120kmh.
Alignment issues would cause the car to pull to one side or another when cruising, ESP at 120. Let go of wheel on straight flat road. Car should stay straight.

last time I felt the vibration it was on a really good road, with some downslope and i also felt it in other road.

Which are the signs that I must search to see if my brakes are warped? can I upload some pictures of my brakes and would you help me? thanks for your help!

Yes. If you can upload pics of the rotors that would definitely help us help you get to the bottom of what's causing the issue.

So i have a new update, I drove a while and searching for any new symptom and found it, while braking there is also a repetitive sound like a "boom boom boom" coming from the front wheels.

And here are the pictures (didn't have time to remove the wheels)

You'd never see a warped rotor. You may not even notice it at slow stops. I bought a new car and it had a warped rotor from the factory. Didn't notice it on the test drive but did in the way home. Took car back next day. 4 new rotors later and good as new.

A warped rotor at like .01" out would feel like it was egg shaped.

Now, I doubt you can have them turned. Most factory rotors are at min thickness. You can try but new rotors for a V6 shouldn't be too hateful. Replace them in pairs. I.E. both fronts. Might as well replace the pads too.

Although it is probably a warped rotor... since this happened after an alignment, I would also check to see there are no loosen bolts at the area where the vibration is felt (it could cause a harsh and rough sensation when braking abruptly... but it would do it at any speed; don't ask how I know )

Another thing that could cause a harsh sound / vibration in the braking pedal is a mismatched tire size; it would only be present when braking (and after a few seconds of holding the brake; probably the ABS system sensing something is wrong and trying to correct/modulate the braking). But if this were the case... you would have a christmas tree light show on the dashboard after a short distance (again, don't ask me how I know )

1. How many miles are on the pads and rotors?
2. In the US we call it canyon running i.e. driving fast up and down twisty mountain roads. Do you canyon run?
