I own and love my '10 2ltrs but the new baby has us thinking trade in for the new chevy SS this fall. Any guesses about trade in value with around 40k and clean?

According to Edmunds, trade in is $19,042. Check out Edmunds.com, KBB, and NADA, all will give you a good estimate.

I'm getting $21,000 trade for a 2011 1lt rs. 30,500 miles.

I was told today that after ordering the new SS will be available in 8 to 9 months. does that sound right?

Depending on the price you settle on for the purchase, I'd say the trade value will be 17-18K in the fall.

BTW, a baby and a toddler can fit in the back of a camaro with no problem.

Yea, the 4 doors will make life easier.

Motor trend estimates 13/20 MPG. Its basically a G8 GXP.
I'd get one but that mpg ain't worth it.

13/20 MPG makes it tougher if that proves true.
