I have had the 2SS for about a week. I have been using the iPod touch using the iPod cable plugged into the USB port. It was working fine once I figured out how to use the controls on the stereo.

Last night I upgraded the iPod Touch to iPhone v3.0. Now it does not immediately recognize the iPod when starting the car like it did before. If I unplug it and plug it back in again it works.

Anyone have this problem? Is there some setting on the iPod that got reset with the software upgrade?

I upgraded to the 3.0 and it works the same

I don't have this exact problem, but after upgrading my iPhone to 3.0, now sometimes the menus on the car's screen are not populated with text correctly. For example if I go to search by playlist, I'll get one or two playlist names and then empty spaces where the rest of the names should be. Usually hitting BACK and going back in fixes it. Weird.

There was another thread with a posting of software updated for the PDIM. I looked at the description and it mentioned iPod touch compatability update. Here's the link http://tis2web.xw.gm.com/tis2web You'll need your vin.
