You get what you pay for, to be blunt. The intro course is taught by Don Kitch Jr, a professional race car driver (Team Seattle / Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona). If you do not need the intro course (have established license or quantifiable skill set), the cost is $295.

For a Proformance Racing School event, you need a roll hoop:
Do I need a roll-bar in my convertible to participate? Yes, soft top cars do require roll hoop.
