Got pulled for no front plate - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was cruising around today, and saw a cop start to follow me. Soon as I saw him pull out I knew he was coming for me... I thought it was going to be for my tint but says that I have no front plate.

Good thing is he didn't ticket me because I had my plate in the glove box. He made me put it on before he left.

Let's not chase after the people that are speeding, lets pull the guy over with no front plate.

I had the bracket mounted, but had "CAMARO SS" lettered on the vanity plate.

If you are going to run with no front plate in a state that requires you to have it, make sure you keep your original plate in the glove box, and hope the cop won't ticket you.

Lol cool car tax! I am in ILL. I did not even mount he license plate bracket. So far never been pulled over. If I start getting harassed I'll probably just get one of those hide a plate brackets.

I live in TX, and once I get my new bumper I am gonna go as long as possible without putting a plate on it

I got pulled over for a messed up headlight....which lead to 8 other violations but I won't name them all

However, one of the was no front license plate and I flat out told the lady that I'm not drilling into my front fascia. She said "Yeah, I understand". I believe our front license plate law is about to be reversed here in Ohio.

But yea I guess she liked me....8 violations and no ticket

Unfortunately, you live in a dictatorship state so you're screwed. You guys really should just be your own country

Haha I've had a similar situation "You have no front license plate, your orange lights in the front are illegal, you have black taillights, you were speeding, and I'm sure there's things I can't see. There's a ton of illegal stuff going on here, but you're a nice guy so I'll give you a warning. Just get all of that fixed soon." I fixed none of it.

but got $0 fine. One LEO said he wanted to
to check my car! Our run around vehicle is a
Yukon Denali and it's never had a front plate.
I decided it just wasn't worth getting a $145
ticket and put on the front plate.

they're trying to (or maybe recently did) make the front plate retractors/hide-a-plate deals illegal there
