ABL (Ambient Lighting) on one door panel is dim

My ABL (Ambient Lighting) on my passenger door panel is very dim. I pulled the door panel off and verified that the clear light bar is pushed into the light socket correctly. The light is on but very dim compared to the driver side.

My guess is to go ahead and get a new light but just thought I would ask if any one experienced this and/or know what the issue is?

Is the pipe rotated so it puts out all the light? or is this new ? if its new the LED is going out.

Interesting... I'm actually at the dealership getting my passenger door panel replaced. When I bought it, there was what looked like a melted section on the colored panel insert up by the tweeter. Finally getting it replaced after they ordered the wrong panel. Anyway, I've also noticed that my ABL lights are dimmer than what was in my 11. The new car is a 13 dusk edition. Since the panels are a darker color, I attributed the dim lights to that. But...after seeing this post, I'm wondering if the ABL connection/wire is what caused the issue in the first place.

And nm... still dim. Guess it's the dusk edition panels blocking more light

I am not sure if it rotated. I guess I will have to pull apart the driver side and compare. I bought the car used about 3 months ago and it was working great and this happened one day.

I have the 2ss Hot Wheels edition and both sides are dim compared to my 2012 coupe
I don't know if the red color is dim compared to the blue or I have to visit the dealer

I have the Hot Wheels edition as well and notice my door lights are barely noticeable. I am having them replaced Monday.
