Sad thing they are all based off virtually the same OS. I guess different strokes for different folks when it comes to what the masses want. I too like the Chrysler version of QNX better than the GM Version.
QNX is what drives blackberrys too so we know there are apps out there let us install them GM lol.

My parents have a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country with Uconnect and I have despised it since day 1. The screen is horrible, no contrast, horrible colors, and low resolution (pixelated) and it is slow to respond to both touchscreen inputs and voice commands. You can only pair a phone using voice commands which means that you have to look them up in the book when you want to pair a phone. There are no bluetooth or phone settings when going through the touchscreen menus. There are also several other annoyances. Did it get a major upgrade because the MyLink my Camaro is leaps and bounds above my Uconnect experience. I am not the only one who has said this in my family.

Everything you said is the opposite on my experience. Everything was quick and lag free. Somethings wrong with your deck if you can only pair your phone via voice connect.

Mine as well considering Chrysler is in the 6th Generation of their infortainment system which started way back in 2004 with navigation and then UConnect was the first BT in a vehicle. Wonder which REx model the vehicle has. Chrysler does sale different version of the system to make it available in more lines.

Mind you this is my first time doing any kind of car review or any review for that matter so bare with me

The car Is amazing. The redesign they did is remarkable it no long looks like a generic grandma car I thought it once did. The leather seats and the interior wood trim Is made of some high grade materials. The 3.6 feels close to the 3.6 thats in our v6 camaro which gets that heavy car moving fast surprisingly. The biggest highlight for me even thought it would seem trivial to you guys is the keyless entry and the uconnect. Being able to just walk to your car and put your hand on the handle is a pretty convenient feature and being able to get out your car and have the car lock itself is a big thing considering I sometimes forget to lock my car doors. The u-connect system is leaps and bounds better that mylink do to the fact that everything is touch screen accessible unlike the cts I was in where you have to touch the dials to navigate through the menus and plus there was no lag.The only thing I would say bad about the u connect is its built in bluetooth siginal. I cannot play music or talk on the phone during my time spent with the car without the signal dropping or my music stops playing overall but it could just be me because of the age of my phone (droid charge) . Overall I was able to get around In style and comfort this week and I would consider buying this car In the future just because of all you get for so cheap.

pros
seamless navigation between menus on u connect
premium materials used on the interior
Stout v6 which really makes the v8 options this time around "optional"
Car Doesn't feel as big as it is

cons
built In bluetooth signal
shifter In v6 versions are hard to shift to gears, I can see this being a problem for people with disabilities

gas mileage was is okay compared to the LLT in the lacrosse
the alpine system isn't good. its got to be the weakest link In the car. If you want to keep your car stock I would upgrade to the beats by dre setup.

I got one as a rental as well and the stereo and AC were far better than the Camaro.
made me a little mad when I got my car back how much of a difference there was.

forgot to mention this. as bad as the alpine system Is is still better than the ba system. Now that im looking up prices this car is even more of better deal considering no matter the trip you're getting the same interior pieces.

What year Audi do you have? I will be getting a Q5 on Monday, and it has the MMI which I found to be pretty damn good.
