Led resistor help!

I installed vled's switchback turn sigs with supplied 50w 3ohm resistors.First using t-taps, still got quick flash. Decided it was connection , so soldered instead.Still got quick flash(normal flash for a few sec.)Just added 50w 6ohm resistors leaving others connected and still with the quick flash's..wth?

How did you wire the resistor in? The resistor has to be wired from the turn signal lead to ground. 6 Ohms are fine, a 3 Ohm resistor would draw twice as much power. 12/3=4amps
12/6=2amps.

One resistor wire to lead, the other to ground per instructions.I guess I'll check my solder job, while not pretty, seemed like good connections. Thanks

Did you use 1 resistor per side or 1 for each tail light. I had to use 4 of 2ssrs load resistors [1 for each tail light] in order for mine to work ok.

I had the same problem when I installed seq led turn signals lights. I wired 1 resistor to the main turn signal wire on each side. They would work part then go fast. I ordered 2 from 2ssr and they did the same thing. I asked 2ssr about it and he said you have to have 1 for each light. I ordered another set and connected them and have not had any more problems.

Where did you mount your resistors?!? Mine got SOOO hot I was scared to mount them anywhere and just ended up putting my factory ones back in. Was using 1 3 Ohm 50Watt per bulb in rear. My IR temp gauge was reading over 350 Deg on the resistor!

Got the resistors for 2ssrs.
