Valentine 1 install

I absolutely love this thing, drove the camaro from MI to AL from AL to FL anf FL back to MI without a ticket, found every cop. Used the blendmount so it sits perfectly below the rear view mirror so the sensor can shoot out the back window. Ran the power cord down the driver A pillar to the fuse box.

I thought visibility was bad with that mirror before, how can you see out of the windshield on the right side now?!

Why did you select Valenine over Passport besides direction arrows? I sort of like the GPS function on Passport.

Nice to have, just looks kinda gaudy where placed. Theres nowhere else that it can be set up to look more seamless?

Geez our mirrors are low enough. I wouldn't hang anything from it. Glad it worked well for you though.

the arrows are the only reason to get it. no other detector has all four directions with the combination of laser/radar. and thats a fact. the valentine has a specific pantent on it that no other detecter can touch.

If you understand how radar works and how it has to be used practially in real world settings, you would know arrows are just a gimmick.

But it is a decent radar detector and alot of people like them.

That is a nice and clean install

My question was features OTHER than arrows I like to have a system that detects laser/radar... I know Valentine is a good one...

I just took a look at the Bel RX75 plus... Any ideas where you will mount the display? Right now I think I'm going with the Passport 9500ci The small indicator sits very nicely straight above the rear view on the interior light panel. Only problem is it's 2K installed... The Bel is half that price...

Klove you should move your v1 higher and to the left.
I purchased my v1 9 months ago after a nasty $650 ticket (that was the reduced price). 8 months now, and it's saved me 11 times all ready. I did extensive research on almost all the models. and none really come close. bogey counter and the arrows are so helpful, but the range is what sets V1 apart.
