So I got a job offer in Brentwood late last week with an investment firm. My wife and I want to start off renting something until we settle in with steady paychecks for a while. I'll most likely be living in Hendersonville with her sister for a couple months beginning mid-August until she finds a new job, at which time we'll be moving into a new place.

Here are some of our wants as well as some places we've looked at online. I'll have some time to physically tour the places prior to selecting one. As far as location, we'd like to live in Northern Brentwood or Southern downtown Nashville.

Wants:
Safe area
Close to shopping/restaurants
Garage/Covered parking

1. Grande View - I think this is my top pick right now.

2. Hamptons @ Woodland Pointe

3. Aventura @ Indian Lake

4. Lenox Village Towne Center

5. Brentwood Downs

6. Preserve @ Brentwood

7. Landings @ Brentwood
