Size matters!
ok so for all the dirty minded people like myself that just click on this...i have 2 questions in which im sure have been asked a million +5 times...so first off i have the 2012 camaro SS with the stock 275/40-20 tires and rims...so first question.
1. what is the widest tire i can fit on the stock rear rim? i heard it was 305's but id rather ask the smart ppl on here before wasting time and money and being screwed over. 2.does anyone know any street DR's that i can fit on the stock wheel. so in other words im looking for the widest radial i can put on my stock 20" rim and safely drive around on the street or track with. thanks for every ones help in advance.

I just talked to my budy that works at his dads ture shop this today. His response went inline with the sticky above. 285/40-20 are the biggeat you want to go. But ive also heard people say you dont want to go any bigger than the 275/40-20s that cone with it on the stock rims.
I havent seen anything about 305s fitting on the stock rims, bit I have heard about people getting theirbstock rims widened to 10" which would fit a 305 |
