Hey All! Thought you might like to hear the GM Performance

axle back exhaust. Had it installed yesterday. It greatly improved the exhaust note and gave the V8 some growl.

Don't have any video from in the car but I can tell you it just purrrrs and there is no drone. Although you can't really see it, these have the Chevrolet Bowtie emblem on top of the tips.

Easily the best sounding axle-back exhaust to me. Couple that son of a bitch with some headers and maybe an x-pipe and you'll have one sweet setup. The tips alone make this thing worth it.

Very nice.... sounds quiet, but like all the rest I'm sure it really opens up at WOT... Looks muuuuch better minus the trash can mufflers and with those tips...

Can you take some vid of a drive by? Loading the engine really changes the exhaust note... Sounds great though!

BTW, where are you in Va?

I'll try to get some drive by clips tomorrow. It was $825 installed at the dealer. That included an overnight delivery fee of $30.

I'm just south of Richmond... Chesterfield. How about you?

Im about an hour and change north of richmond in a tiny town called King George right off of 301.

Shweet, the new exhaust sounds good. Any plans for headers?? Im really curious now to hear the GMPP with a set of ARH headers and cats!

Z3 and jumper, thanks for the comments. The total with installation was $825. My dealer did the installation. It only took 45 minutes but everyone in the shop had to gather together to hear the first start since it was the first one they had put on. Big applause when it fired up. I was out of there in an hour. My dealership is great. Even invited me out to the shop floor to make sure the tips were where I wanted them before the tightened them up.

Get that service at a BMW dealer... dare ya!
