I (re) ordered my car on 7/2. My dealer told me I'm looking at a delivery date well into the Fall, probably sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving?

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't that seem a little long? I was thinking mid-September at the latest.

I've seen other people's orders on here and I've seen some go from 1100 to 3300 within a month, now that we are at full production.

I got a similar forecast. I ordered on 7/4. Dealer claims it could be 2-3 months before the order is submitted and accepted by GM and 60 days or so after that to build & deliver. I'm crossing my fingers that maybe production rates have been increasing since deliveries first began. ITs going to be a long fall though waiting...

seems about right. however things could speed up soon once all preorders are filled. you could see it sooner just dont get your hopes up to much!

Allocation! And please it seems a little long have you read the posts of people waiting since October, I've even been waiting since February. Please save us it seems a bit long.

Seems about right Ant, look at it this way, it gives you more time to secure any loose ends with financing your Camaro.

My order was placed on June 24 (1100) and then 7 days later July 1 jumped all the way to 3000. I was told 8 to 10 weeks from the June 24 date. If your dealer had an open allocation then I bet you will see it before then if you don't run into any snags at the facility. With my order date, I am guessing Mid August or early September. Like somone else said....it's all about if he actually had an immediate open allocation for you. I would think you would have a similar expected delivery date as mine since your order was placed about the same time. No doubt it is tough waiting...

I ordered on June 26th and my dealer told me not to expect seeing it before December.

No, my 2nd. I had to re-order because my dealership closed and they are now routing my car to a dealership where 1) my salespeople from the closed dealership do not work and 2) will not honor my deposit.

I totally depends on your location and dealer allocations. Some just luck out I know one dealership I didn't go with has called me twice last week asking me if I was interested in a camaro but sad neither one was what I wanted in color or options. So here I sit and wait like so many on this forum. Cheers to all of us Camaro people.

My dealership closed and my car is being routed to a dealership that I do not want to deal with and they wouldn't honor my deposit, that is why I had to re-order.

Do you think the dealerships could possibly do a 'trade' and maybe the dealer I ordered from could trade one of their cars for my Camaro that is being shipped to the other dealership?

Ant,

Your dealer should be able to tell you how many orders they have ahead of you and how many they are allocated in this consensus cycle. That will give you the best indication of when.

I know you've been thru alot trying to get a Camaro and I hope this time it works out.

Yes, I have and thank you. I even got a new, better-paying job and I just sold my Hyundai yesterday.
