ZL1 Exhaust Options?

What are all the after market exhaust options?

I know of the Corsa, Billy Boat and the Kooks exhaust but not any others. I'm trying to find what I like best from the headers back. I do like the quad tips on the end and I know that the Corsa setup didn't have that. What elae is out there and what do you guys have?

I'm pretty sure that the Corsa ZL1 setup has quad tips...Borla has a nice system and I really like the Stainless Works system, sounds amazing in the video.

make something custom. it isn't too hard, take an LS3 exhaust and cut the mufflers off and put whatever mufflers you want on it. My dual mode system is in my shed while I run my straight pipe LS3 system.

You going to do longtubes as well?

Yes your right on the Corsa exhaust, I must have been thinking about a different one. Do you have one of these setups?

I'm thinking about it which is why I'm trying to get a feel for what all is out there. I switched contractors and work and so I have a nice check from leave time built up coming to me, just trying to figure out what to spend it on.

I think a full exhaust is a waste of money, it will change your sound a bit but wont get much power out of the big bucks you put into it. i'd do headers, pulleys, suspension, and reduce the super charger heat with a chiller or better heat exchanger. a tune... I can spend all your money real quick if I had it. maybe those tires you were complaining about.

I have the BB, love that fact I still have the Dual Mode Exhaust, little deeper than stock but not overkill. No drone at speed. Search for Billy Boat is on and you'll see the thread and clips and pics.

Do you like the BB, and does it actually add some umphh to your gettiup. Also, do you just hook the sensor up to it so it runs dual mode like OEM?

I just got in a B&B to add to my SS. It's a full cat back with a crossover pipe with resonators built into it. I'll be using the dual-mode as well. I don't have it on yet, but I have a partial pic in my build thread here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=47925&page=12. It was on sale, about the price as a stock ZL1 exhaust. It is also 3" all the way through.

I do love it, as far as umpphhhh. not sure, but I can say that it is 3inch all the way back from the headers/manifolds and 4inch tips, so it is moving the air out, rotofab intake moving air in, so it does has get up! in fact I ran a 12.8 1/4 mile, full tank of gas, factory sub, baby seat, car cleaning gear in the trunk, and my fat but in the car......this was my first time ever at the track! The dual mode is vacuum controlled just like stock....I added a switch to manually control the mode, just like a mild to wild switch.

I am deployed right now. But here are some that I have. They do stick out some, but not overkill, mine were some of the first one from them and there were some fitment issues per my thread on it, but Billy Boat did fix everything.
