Hooking up Fog Light Halos to JDP Halo Kit?

I have the JDP Color Changing Halo Kit, and I also want to get Color Changing Halo Fog Lights to match them. I want to hook up the Fog Light Halos to my JDP kit so they can be changed with the same remote and at the same time.
Has anyone done this, and if so, can you give me installation instructions and which Fog Light Halos you have?

I haven't done it yet, but the line you want to tap into is the single LED that goes into the cabin to show what color your halos are. This was recommended to me by JDP directly when I was thinking of doing this same thing. I just haven't done since there are no fog light halo kits out there that provide the smooth diffused light to match the factory halos. I don't want the dots that the Oracle kit and others offer.

EDIT: I just dug through my old PMs and found this response on this exact subject directly from Jeremy at JDP (creator of the halo kit):

Yes, in most cases it is possible to do that. Our halo system runs on a common power circuitry, which means there are four wires common to each LED; a red ground, green ground, blue ground, and a power wire (which is the black wire). If your additional lights run on this same circuitry, then you can hook it up to it. I haven't done any, but I know of several who have. When you do, tap into the interior LED circuit either right out of the box, or inside the car. This circuit is unresisted out of the box, and going from a halo circuit could also effect the halo operation and/or colors.

Thanks, and feel free to call, email, or PM us anytime!
- Jeremy

Thanks for the response. I agree with you about the ugly dotted design oracle has, but they did recently come out with a "plasma" design that eliminated the dots and gives a real nice look. The only problem is it doesn't look like these run on the "common power circuitry" but here is the link anyway: http://www.nfcperformance.com/chevro...Fctr7AodFUgAlQ

I have a set of those in red. Unfortunately they are not available in RGB, which is what I want to match the halos. I'm thinking about making my own setup to achieve my desired look.

I tapped my Flashtech halos (I would buy Oracle if I did it over again) into my JDP's. I used the LED wire...not the halos. I like the look of the single LED's. The DRL halos are much brighter than the JDP's.
