2015 vs 2016 Camaro
I know its a long way off either way, but does anyone know for sure weather the 6th gen Camaro is being released in 2016? It seems on the fourms that it is the definite year, but when I read articles online they seem to point in the 2015 direction.

No. You haven't been reading that from anybody that has any authority.

Just my opinion, which is worth nothing, but..... I don't think they will change from the 5th edition until after the 50th anniversary, which would be 2017, akin to Corvette holding off changing models until after the 60th anniversary just this year.
But that's just me. It gives GM two great marketing years like it did for the Vette. |

Most articles (rumors) I've read point to 2016 being the first year of the 6th generation Camaro. Of course, that 2016 car would most likely be available in the second half of 2015.

So in 14-16 months we might start seeing early production testing/spy shots of gen 6.

Honestly I don't see Chevy brining out the Gen 6 for another few years simply because they just made the mods to the Gen 5 this year. I agree that the Gen 6 probably won't come out until after the 50th anniversary.
