Want to replace door speakers
My rockford fosgate p300-10 should be here around friday. For those who upgraded their door speakers, does it make a big difference? I need some door speakers that have good bass that have that nice punch, since I listen to dubstep a lot. I got about $250 to waste, or do you guys think that upgrading the deck ones will make a bigger improvement? What do you guys think?

NOOOOOOO...the next move is an amp...trust me - the speakers are plenty good with some good power behind them - 4 proven items that make the switch easy - almost with no tools
******** FARK harness Subthunp mounting board JL XD 400/4 or similar amp Amp wiring kit.... a bit more than $250 but will make more of a difference than speakewrs... |

From the research I've done between my dealer, Crutchfield, and Kicker, the door speakers can be improved on by just about anything.
I've got some Kicker 40CS674 speakers coming. They were $79.00 for the woofer/tweeter pairs and come with harnesses from Crutchfield. Those're going in the doors. I'm also laying down a Dynamat door kit for sound proofing while I have the door trim off. To make sure the supply is rockin' and I have bass, I'm putting in a Kicker Powerstage, which promises to improve sound even with stock paper speakers, and puts an integrated Sub in the trunk. I'm going to post a mods/comparison thread when I get everything and start the installs. |

Post 4, exactly. It took me 25minutes from the time I opened the trunk until the amp was replaced and working. Everything is plug and play, the factory amp is the first audio item that should be upgraded with the BA system. The results are amazing!

stereo noob here as well. Although I did get the same RF p300 10" sub/amp. Sounds AMAZING!
I am taking door panels off this weekend, and wanted to get some dynamat, and upgrade the door speakers as well. Is that not the right thing to do? Are there any plug and play speakers? from what I've heard it's not as simple as that for the door panel speakers? Am I missing something? Hopped on thread since I was just going to post same question. THanks guys!
