Ever heard of "Terminate in Transit"???
What does it mean when it says "Terminate in Transit" on the dealers invoice??
I finally have a Vin# and my salesperson said the invoice says "Terminate in Transit 7-6-09". Does that mean they (GM) expected the car to be delivered by July 6th? Thanks! ----------------------------------Edit-------------------------------------------- The proper terminology is "Expiration in Transit". My error.

There is a Exp. I/T which is the last day the car should be at the dealer.
Never heard of Terminate in Transit. Do you have a copy of what you saw that you could post?

It is a pre-determined date after the dealer receives the invoice. So everyones dealer gets and invoice and a ETA, does not take into consideration if the car was in QC, All I can tell you is that once the car arrives are the distobution center from the rail company they have three days to get it to the dealer.

Tic Toc, Tic Toc............... Still waiting. Obviously these "Expiration in Transit" dates aren't very accurate.
