blower dissemble and port

I have gotten several questions about blower dissembly and port work in the last couple months.

I will be doing a full disassemble and port on a blower starting sunday night..

I am going to take pics and short vids and and post them real time as I go...

this will be off a cts v but other than the lid removal (which I will go through anyway, the exact same process on your zl1 as they are IDENTICAL from the lid down.

I will show all tools needed and the puller required and how to make this yourself..

Dump question but since you are doing this, totally looking forward to the vids and pics badass, anyway does anyone know if the blower snout can be pulled without pulling the whole supercharger or do you have to take off the whole thing as one thanks

Thank you in advance. I don't ever plan on doing it myself but would like to see what is happening.

Ill do my best.. and no.. you have to remove the lid then loosen all 10 bolts that hold it down to remove snout. The front of the blower must be elevated to remove and install.
The pics and vids will walk you through that part as most guys will never do more than that ( replacing upper pulley)

The lid on the zl1 is actually a very time consuming part of the process because the back 6 bolts are a biiiiiiaaaaaaatch.
