For those of you who purchased these for your car did the dealer charge you extra to have them painted or was that included in your price?

that is an additional charge, consult your dealer's body shop or a local shop...

Mine came in yesterday, dealer said $500 to paint em orange...

Installation is part of the deal but getting them painted is extra unless your dealer agreed that they will paint/mount them at no extra charge. I asked this question when I placed my order as I didn't want to spend the extra $2k+ for the GFX unless they were painted body color and mounting were included in the price.....the owner of the dealership told me he will paint and mount them at no extra charge. We'll see.

My dealer quoted me $550 to paint them and I told him that another dealer told me they would do it for $380 (this was quoted by another dealer). He called me back and then agreed to do it for $400 which was included in the purchase price. Now all I need is for the GFX to come in. I have been waiting 2 weeks now and I hope they come in by this time next week.

BTW, did anyone who already has their GFX have their exhaust tips painted black to help the appearance? I love the GFX, but I am not too crazy about seeing the round hole inside the rectangular one.

I Agree with you. I wanted to order Exhaust for my V6 but am not sure what will actually fit with the GFX. I've seen a few kits with Rectangle shapped that look abit better then the round.

My Car is only a few days out and GM Said they where shipping GFX later. So guess I'll wait.

I couldnt agree more. I feel the square chrome bezels on the kit make the car seem "ricey" and that is so not the look im going for. I was hoping painting them black would help make it flow nice.

You could go with the catback that there are clips and information on in the V8 section. Expensive, yes, but it has some nice tips. I agree though on the ricey and not too crazy comments. I still really like the kit though. Those prices don't sound too bad; it's just too bad they didn't come painted already though.
