No joke. Just looked at Camaros last night on the build your own Chevy website- $1500 cash offer.

This morning, looked at the exact same car...$2000 cash offer!

Looked at other cars and it shows $2K also.

Checked out the "incentives" page and it still shows $1500. hmmm.

Yeah. There's a $500 bonus cash offer for 2013's that just started on 8/22/13. Now the total is $2000.

i noticed that too. so, given this expires 9/3/13, you think they will go up? i am surprised at this increase before the current incentive is up. also, how does credit union discout work? i work at one. but, i bet after 9/3, rebates go up again. i am holding out and i told sales man this. he knows. i am eyeing a 13 black 2LT vert, new, but build date a year ago. 60 miles on it. but, these rebates should continue and i can wait.

I've seen it go both ways on left over year models. Sometimes they do away with the cash offers as the inventory thins out. I did this once on an Avalanche truck...kept waiting for the rebates to go up and after they updated they actually went down. $2000 cash offer isnt a bad deal. Plus the dealers will sell them to you for under invoice price before the rebates. If you are wanting one, i would pull the trigger

I pulled the trigger @ 1000.00 rebate and a 1000.00 Private Offer.

The upside is I only had to drive 40 miles for the Camaro I wanted (model and color), and that I've been having a blast driving it every day since April 27th.

If I had waited.......2000.00 rebate - but would I have been able to snag another Private Offer? Seriously- I'm happy with the way it went.

Those that have snagged a Private Offer in this latest round......its time to find YOUR car.

But the private offer doesn't include ZL1. Which is sad, actually. But the $2K bonus cash still applies to ZL1.

ntrimm. i figured i could wait till after labor day and see what happens. the car is under invoice already, and the 2000 helps of course. i dont mean to be greedy, but i would offer even less given the car was built a year ago, and they have had it that long. maybe after labor day in midwest, they would deal more. the price with a small decrease from them would be almost the same as if i ordered a new 2lt coupe. i am still torn between coupe and vert, so cant pull till i deceide. the car is all black too.
